Floating pontoon pathways span a large 55 feet deep azure blue underground lake. Formations on the bottom are clearly visible.
The great American humorist, Mark Twain was one of the first to experience the mind-boggling profusion of pristine white stalactites, soda straws and helectite formations above the lake. Crystal Caves is by all accounts, a remarkable natural beauty!

Aquatic Bermuda
With only a 6 inch draft and a huge 4x8ft glass bottom, no other glass bottom boat in Bermuda gives you such a thrillingly intimate reef viewing experience. Our guests enjoy the longest glass bottom reef viewing in Bermuda (twice the time of other tours!) over shallower and more vibrant reef, without jostling with other passengers to get a glimpse through the glass. Information is imparted in a refreshingly adlib style by Captain Tony the son-in-law of Dr David Wingate father of conservation in Bermuda), so you can actually believe what you hear! Best of all, you don't have to share your experience with a crowd of strangers. We rarely carry more than 12 passengers in order to keep things as personalized and relaxed as possible.

Our helmet diving has been a part of Bermuda Tourism for over 56 years. Forget the Bermuda Triangle, the barred windows and lead boots! Shallow water helmet diving is the safest undersea adventure anyone can do, and yet everyone, even certified divers, finds exciting. Fun for the whole family. Take your helmet diving adventure on the sandy bottom in 10 feet of turquoise water, between coral reefs and waving sea fans will be the highlight of your Bermuda vacation. Tropical parrotfish browse casually about golden heads of coral, just feet away, while beautiful Bermuda angelfish eat right from your hand.

Gibb's Hill Lighthouse began its job on May 1, 1846 and has been flashing out its beam to seafaring men ever since first by the use of kerosene, and finally these days by electricity. In the decade before the lighthouse was constructed, a total of 39 vessels were wrecked off the Western end of the islands. Here the reefs extend some 16 miles or more out to sea. At the time of its construction in 1844, steel was not available for building purposes. As a result, Gibb's Hill Lighthouse is one of the few in the world made of cast iron.

This is the prime place to watch local artists at work and to buy their wares, some of which make ideal souvenirs. Established in 1987, within the shadowy, thick-walled premises of what was originally conceived as a warehouse and boat repair yard, this market offers items made from Bermuda cedar, candles, clothing, dolls, fabrics, hand-painted goods, jewelry, metal and gem sculpture, needlework, quilts, shell art, glass panels, and woven-cane goods, among other things.

St George's
This small town is steeped in history. Not only did it play a pivotal role in Bermuda’s history (it was the capital until 1815) but it also helped shape America’s too. In 1610 Somers managed to construct 2 new ships; the Deliverance and the Patience and set sail from Bermuda bound for Jamestown. On arrival Somers found the colony decimated by starvation, illness and attacks by Indians. Fortunately, the supplies he brought saved them from oblivion. The people of St George went on to make further impacts on US history. During the American War of Independence they smuggled much-needed gunpowder out of Tobacco Bay to George Washington, and probably prolonged the Civil War by ferrying supplies and munitions to the desperate Confederates.
